Thomas Kirwin "T.K." Niland's Obituary
Thomas Kirwin “T.K.” Niland Jr., 81, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Clara Niland; son, Kirwin Niland; and sister, Mary Margaret Niland Outwin. T.K. is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mildred Moore Niland; children, Casey Niland and his wife, Sondra, Kelly Niland, KT Niland Sunn and her husband, Kevin, Katy Niland Murphy and her husband, Kevin; sister, Dorothy Niland Toole, and her husband West; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; and a host of other family and friends.
T.K. died on the first day of spring, a new beginning. He loved his family, his church, his country and Texas A&M University. T.K. was in the Corps at Texas A&M University and went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force.
A visitation for T.K. will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2013 from 3:00 until 5:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral mass will take place on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 10:30 am at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Road, Pearland, Texas 77581 with Father Jim Courville officiating. Graveside services will take place at 2:00 pm at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
