Dear Family of Tom Jacobs,
Our family came to know Tom after our son, Steven, was injured in Iraq. He wrote several stories about Steven’s recovery and the kindness of the community. When Steven would tell Tom about some of his antics, Tom would laugh and say he had 4 boys and knew how boys were. I send our deepest sympathies on his passing. You are all in our prayers and thoughts. I went to school with Tom and played Lacrosse at U of H with him. I had reconnected with him since he had moved back to Friendswood and started working at the paper. I will miss my old friend.
Dear Family,
I am a former Friendswood City Councilmember and had the privilege of knowing Tom. What a truly dedicated newsman.
