Tommy Allen Youngblood's Obituary
Tommy Allen Youngblood passed away Monday, March 15, 2021. Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Nora Youngblood; his loving wife, Emma Hayes Youngblood; brothers, Wayne Youngblood, and Lloyd Youngblood. Left to cherish Tommy’s memory are his son, Tommy Allen Youngblood Jr.; brothers, James Youngblood and wife, Sheryl, Delton Youngblood; Sister, Doris Carpenter; sister-in-law, Janice Youngblood, and a host of many other dear family and friends.
Tommy proudly served his Country in the United States Air Force for ten years. During his time in the Service, Tommy was stationed in many different countries. He enjoyed traveling and seeing different places around the world. Tommy was a hard worker and wonderful provider for his family. He worked for 40+ years with Sherwin Williams. Tommy loved the outdoors, he especially enjoyed time spent hunting and fishing. Tommy’s favorite place was most surely his place in Galveston, on the Bolivar Peninsula. He loved spending time there, the sounds of the beach and the feel of the fresh air. It was his favorite fishing spot and truly his sanctuary. Tommy was also a music lover. He loved karaoke and enjoyed singing and dancing whenever he had the chance. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Services for Tommy will be held in the Chapel at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. Visitation is scheduled Friday, March 19, 2021, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at 10:00 am, with pastor Keith Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm, at the Garden of Memories Memorial Park, in Lufkin, Texas.
