I am another of Lak's former colleagues from JSC. I was saddened to hear of her passing - I have fond memories of our work together. Her untimely death is a tragedy not only for her family but for all of us whose lives she enriched with her caring and expertise.
For Lak's family,
I worked with Lak at NASA for many years. I loved her sense of humor, she was so funny. She was an inspiration for us to do the best. She always made us think about the research and how it best helped NASA.
She is a big loss for NASA and for all of us who loved her.
Dr. Putcha always had a smile for me when met. I will miss her warmth and humor. May she rest in peace.
