It is hard to select a single memory of Mr. Chudej. He lived in the same neighborhood as we did, and my father, Raymond Patlovany, and he worked at Folgers together for many years. He and his wife and children are woven into many of my childhood memories. When he went to work at Mt Carmel, my classmates grew to respect and love him as much as my family did. May the angels welcome him into Paradise.
