Vicki Baswell Woodward's Obituary
Vicki Elaine Baswell Woodward was born on January 12, 1960, in Pasadena, Texas, and passed away on June 8th, 2026, in La Porte, Texas. Raised in Pasadena, Vicki carried her Texas roots with pride throughout her life and will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and quiet & sometimes very vocal strength to those around her.
She was the beloved daughter of Richard and Sandra Baswell. She was the second of three children. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, James A Woodward, her son, Eric W. Baswell and grandson Mason James Baswell, along with nieces Haylee and Randi Baswell. She is preceded in death by her two brothers, Randy and Michael Baswell, and her Father & Mother Richard and Sandra Baswell
Vicki’s greatest joy was her son and grandson, Eric and Mason. She was deeply proud of them and treasured the life they shared. Both brought her great joy.
Vicki enjoyed listening to live country music, dancing, and hanging with friends and family. One of her biggest joys was listening to her dad and husband pick the guitar, while her brother joined in occasionally playing the harmonica at family gatherings
She also enjoyed RV’ing and beach house stays with her husband, son & grandson. Many trips were made to gamble with James, she did love her Triple 7 machines!
A Celebration of Life for Vicki will be held on Friday, June 12th, 2026 at Clayton Funeral Home of La Porte, beginning at 2:00 pm.
