I played soccer with Joesph for 10 years. We started playing YMCA soccer together. Then got into competive league soccer where his dad COACH CAMPOS!! was the coach for our team.
From there we started playing Division Level soccer and traveled across the state playing at different tournaments.
And we finished playing soccer together in high school for the Pearland Oilers.
He was such a good guy. I always looked up to him. He was such a good soccer player and had such a passion for the sport. He was one of the first freshman to make the Varsity Soccer team.
What a great guy and now what a great angel. He will be truly missed.
Dear Campo Family,
Words can’t begin to express the sympathy I feel on the untimely death of your beloved sons. They will be missed by everyone that knew them. I hope the expressions of sympathy that you must be receiving from everyone provide some consolation to you. Hopefully, knowing how much they were loved will give you a measure of comfort. Joseph was always my favorite vendor. It was an honor to meet him.
I hope you can find peace in the memories that you have of him and Patrick.
May God bless you and your wonderful family,
Carlos Cotto
I don’t have words powerful enough to express my condolences to your family. I’ve shed my own tears, knowing how painful this must be for you. I remember Joseph and Patrick from soccer and how wonderful the Campo family was-to each other, to teammates, and to all the soccer parents. May God bless you and see you through this very sad time.

Our prayers are with the Campo Family through this difficult time. Although we didn’t know your boys but we love you so much. After reading so many comments about your wonderful boys we know they were great men because of who you are.

Philip Burke and Joshua Burke and Campo came to Elkhart to duck hunt several years ago.Sue and I were really impressed by your son. We had heard a lot about him thru Philip. Those boys and I had a great time hunting
We are so sorry for your loss of two wonderful sons.
Don and Sue Butke
Dearest Campo Family, Claire and I are heartbroken for the profound loss you are experiencing. Claire mentioned ‘the boys’ always with a chuckle when she’d tell me stories about Elizabeth and those brothers. Claire was out with Elizabeth shopping for some gear needed for an upcoming hunting trip just recently. When she’d told me, I laughed and she said it’s those brothers! Claire and I will be there for you Elizabeth. We love you and will be praying for peace. Our heartfelt condolences to the Campo Family.
