Viola Marie Dworaczyk's Obituary
Viola Marie Dworaczyk, 93, passed away September 20, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Mary Matusek; husband, C.A. (Kelly) Dworaczyk; son, Michael Dworaczyk; five brothers; and a sister. Left to cherish Viola’s memory are her sons, Larry Dworaczyk, Rick Dworaczyk and wife, Rebecca; Kathleen Dworaczyk, Debra Dworaczyk, Melinda Lysandrou, and Carol Dworaczyk; brother, Ben Matusek and wife Barbara; grandchildren, Blake Dworaczyk, Brett Dworaczyk, David Dworaczyk, William Dworaczyk, Luke Dworaczyk, Sarah Dworaczyk, Austin Dworaczyk Wiltshire, Zachary Dworaczyk Wiltshire, Paul Villejo, Michelle Villejo, and a host of other family and friends.
Viola was born and raised a farm girl in Wharton Texas. She was married to Kelly, the love of her life, for 53 wonderful years and together they had seven children and ten grandchildren. Viola loved Polka dancing with her husband with the Pearland Polka Club, where they were proud members. Viola was also a talented cook, baker, and seamstress. She was a long-time employee at Pearland High School, where she enjoyed her job and friends. Viola was strong in her faith and an active volunteer at St. Helen’s Church and the Catholic Daughters for decades where she made many wonderful friends while serving there. Viola enjoyed good health and independence all of her life, and even worked out at a nearby gym for many years, up until she was 92 years old. Viola leaves a wonderful lasting legacy and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A funeral mass will be held for Viola Friday, September 25, 2020, at 10:00 am, at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Rd, Pearland, Texas with Father Jim Courville officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
