Virginia Lucille Baugh's Obituary
On June 25, we lost our “Mama” Virginia Baugh, a wonderful Christian mom, grandmother, great- grandmother, friend and gracious lady. While we mourn her loss, we rejoice in the knowledge that she is resting in our Savior’s arms. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eulis Baugh, parents, sisters and brothers, and a number of family members. She was born on a farm in Forest, TX on August 10, 1924 and moved to La Porte, TX in 1949 with her husband Eulis and their three children. Virginia and Eulis spent their retirement years in Clear Lake City and after he passed away, she spent her final years at Brookdale Clear Lake. She is survived by sons, Jimmy and wife Mary Baugh, Don and wife Patty Baugh, a daughter Terry Sue Lanham; grandsons Mark Gravett and wife Jeannie, Jarod Baugh and wife Susan, David Baugh and wife Brooke, and Jason Baugh and wife Courtney, great-grandchildren; Taylor Baugh, Emma Baugh, Aaron Gravett, Garrett Baugh, Jordyn Baugh, Brayden Baugh, Brylee Baugh and Deacon Baugh and a host of family and friends.
Our Mama would have been 96 on August 10. She lived a long, wonderful life and filled our hearts, and all who knew her, with joy and beautiful memories. Virginia greeted everyone with her beautiful smile and loving words and never complained. She set an example for all of us, and will be sorely missed.
