Virginia Ann Thompson's Obituary
Virginia Ann Thompson, 56, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Thompson and Claudia Hunter; and sister, Willett Houston. Left to cherish her memory are her son Coy Dawson and wife, Amanda; daughters, Latesha and Jessica Thompson; brothers, Bruce and Dwayne Brown; sisters, Denise Brown, Sheria Crockett, Brenda Houston; grandchildren, Rodney, Darnelle, Desean, Lashawn, Quinton, Sirkeyston, Jenelee, Deuce; great grandchild, Joseph; and a host of other family and dear friends.
Virginia was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother that cherished her family. She especially loved cooking her favorite recipes for her family. Virginia took great pride in accomplishing her goal of graduating from college with a degree in business. Her hobbies included arts and crafts, watching sci-fi shows and chasing fires. Virginia will forever be remembered for her graciousness and love for those in need. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Visitation Service for Virginia will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2020 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 201 South 3rd Street, La Porte, Texas 77571.
