View Tribute Book William “Waddell” Heinrich, 72, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents Louis and Carleen Heinrich, and brother Jim Henderson. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, of 52 years, Marlene Heinrich; son Steven Louis Heinrich; daughter Angela Heinrich Willis and husband, Travis; brothers Terry Heinrich and wife, Sandy, Mark Heinrich and wife, Karen; sister-in-law Rita Henderson; grandson Ethan Heinrich, and a host of many other family and friends.Waddell was a kind and loving husband, father, and grandfather who especially cherished his grandson. He was a wonderful provider for his family. Waddell had a successful career with South Western Bell for 32 years. He was a wonderful boss at work as well as at home. Following his service at SW Bell, Waddell worked at Home Depot for 5 years, and then for Cob Fendley & Associates for another 10 years. Never one to sit idle, he enjoyed staying busy. Waddell enjoyed the outdoors and loved going fishing and hunting at his camp in Louisiana. He was also very active with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Waddell enjoyed traveling with Marlene all over the United States, and they enjoyed several trips to Hawaii. They also had a wonderful trip to Calgary, Canada with many stops along the way. Waddell was a graduate of the University of Houston and enjoyed watching and cheering on the cougars. He was also an avid Astros fan. Waddell will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
