James and Stephen,
Your mom and I have been friends for over 51 years. I met your mom when I started teaching at LaPorte High School - we became great friends and watched our kids grow up even after we moved back to Kansas. I loved her crawfish etouffee and her frozen strawberry daiquiris. She was just telling me last week how she wanted to fly to Kansas this summer to visit me.
I will miss her terribly but know how proud she was of you both, James and Stephen, and her four grandchildren.
Loved the trips to Houston and Galveston. We loved going with you and Carl to Jimmie Walkers and eat great fresh seafood while watching the shrimp boats going by !!!!
James and Stephen your mom will continue to live on through both of you and your children!

I played BUNCO with Wal’dean for 10 years. She was an amazing person. She was funny, kind and so proud of her family. Carl was the love of her life and she was always telling us about her boy’s accomplishments.
Rest in peace, my friend.
What a beautiful soul your mother was! I have solace in knowing she is with the Father and your father! Love you all!
