Walt was a kind and inspiring man. I was fortunate enough to cruise on his yacht and enjoyed his company and stories. Gary Davis is my friend and remember the first time meeting Walt when he and Mary began dating. I feel lucky to have had the honor of meeting him and being welcomed into his home and on his yacht.
Our entire neighborhood will miss Walt immensely. He was a great neighbor and friend and always had a welcoming smile and warm greeting for everyone. We regret not having spent more time with him and getting some of his stories about his WWII experiences in North Africa and in the China-Burma theater of operations. He was truly one of the Greatest Generation and we salute him for his service to his country and his role in keeping us a free nation.
I thought the world of Walt. My condolences go out to the family and friends. Mary, I'm holding you close in my heart.
Our condolences to the entire Springall family. There are so many fond memories about Walt; it will take some time to relive them in our minds.
