Weldon Collins Warren's Obituary
Weldon Collins Warren passed away in Houston, Texas, on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the age of 94. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lena Warren; brother, Tommy Warren; and sisters, Barbara McDonnell and Dorothy Wright. Left to cherish Weldon’s memory are his wife of 47 years, Mary Ann Warren; son, Todd Warren; grandchildren, Zoe, Kyah, and Wade Warren; and a host of many other family and friends.
Weldon was one of the most generous, kind, and laid-back men you could be fortunate enough to know. Although he was a quiet man, he always garnered attention when he had something to say. Weldon was also a loving husband, and father, who adored spending time with his family. Any activity or opportunity to bring family together was at the top of his priority list.
Weldon, who most knew as “Buddy”, loved fishing and enjoyed spending time on the water boating, interacting with dogs, and gardening. He had an amazing gift for sense of direction and memory of road numbers as he basically memorized his way around Texas while working in the oil field. This gift came in handy whenever he traveled and explored new places with his family. Weldon also enjoyed following the PGA tour, watching tournaments, and attending Church. His quiet but loving presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A graveside interment service will be held for Weldon at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas, on Tuesday, December 23rd, 2025, beginning at 2:00 pm.
