Bill was my immediate supervisor at Gulf Oil Chemicals when I worked with the company in the mid to late 1970’s. I was most fortunate to have worked with Bill who always graciously provided his guidance and counsel on difficult issues while maintaining perspective with his quick wit and keen sense of humor. I also considered Bill as a mentor to me on the specialty of compensation within Human Resources management. It was indeed a pleasure working with Bill and, in more recent years, reminiscing with him personally about our working years together. My deepest sympathy and prayers are extended to Bill’s family at this difficult time.
