Yun Sang Lam's Obituary
Y.S. Lam, a loving husband and father passed at the age of 82 to be with the Lord. He was born in Guangdong, China in 1938. After immigrating to the United States, his most joyful times were attending church and singing in the church choir. Besides going to church, he also enjoyed fishing, gardening, traveling, and eating.
When he was a child, the Baptist missionaries went to his province to share about Jesus and the Gospel. He and his family became believers. Because he was from a large family living in rural China, they were often without food. One day, he looked toward heaven and said to God, “I will be a faithful believer if You provide a bag of rice for my family.” As he was playing in the field, he found a bag of rice on the ground. From that day on, he became a strong and faithful servant of the good Lord, as well as experienced many more miracles during his lifetime.
Y.S. Lam is survived by his wife, son, daughter and two brothers. He was an angel, a heavenly man and gentle father who was and is still dearly loved by his family, church, and friends. He is laid to rest in Pearland, Texas.
