I will miss his late night phone calls. We would talk about everything from guns, politics, work, and all the crazy people in the world. Andy and I always had a special connection with each other. When we sometimes got together, all it would take is a sideways glance at each other to start laughing for no reason. Everyone else would look at us like we were nuts. I'm sure we were! As kids we would play until our faces were beet red and dripping with sweat, or until our parents smacked our butts because we made too much noise. That would stop us for about 5 minutes. Thanksgiving was always a time when you could expect Andy to stuff celery or carrot sticks up his nose and pretend to be an animal, much to our delight of course. Andy and I also learned that hedge apple fights didn't always end up well. Hedge apples are hard and getting hit with one always left large lumps and bruises. But I know we'd do it again if we had any handy. I remember going to Andy's house and he was so excited because he got some pea shooters. My brother and I joined in the fight with him and proceeded to spit dried peas all over the house and into each other's faces until his Mom, Faye, took the peas away from us. You could tell they regretted buying him that particular toy! However, Andy took us down the hall to his room and under his bed he had stashed a whole quart bag full of soy beans. Needless to say it was Game On! Where he got the soy beans was never known. The best time of all with Andy was of course our made up game of hide and seek that we renamed Boobyloo. Instead of waiting to be found, the object of this game was to hide and try your very best to jump out and scare the crap out of the person looking for you. We drove our parents crazy with that game. How many times we got in trouble are too numerous to count. I have many many wonderful memories of Andy and will cherish them forever. We answered every phone call to each other with "Hey Boobyloo" and it saddens me to know I won't hear it from him any more. But in my heart.....I know he's playing Boobyloo somewhere and someday we'll be able to play it again. With all my Love.......Angela (Your Boobyloo)
