Martha, so sorry for the loss of your loved one. My prayers go out to you and your family. I wish I could be there today to show my respects but I am out of town. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
I beleive that most all good people when they die want to go to heaven and leave this earth a better place because of them. I also beleive Carl Jr. Accomplished this through his chilldren, his Christianity and service to his Country. May God continue to bless the Self family
The thought of most all good people is to leave this planet go on to heaven and leave the earth a better place because of you. I beleve Carl jr. Has done this through his children
And service to his country. God Bless you all...
I worked around Carl for many years at Champion. Sorry for your loss.
Dear Family,
We are sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you celebrate a life well lived. May he Rest In Peace.
I never had the opportunity to meet Mr Self but I know his sons Carl and Lance well enough to know that he was a great, great man. Incredibly sorry to the entire family for y'alls loss, sending my love and condolences.
I’m so sorry for the family’s loss, I pray for you and your family during this time.
We loved being around "Pop". He was the first to greet you, ask about the family, and willing to listen endlessly while we droned on about life and times. The pride and love he showed in his family was first class, as it should have been.
There will be a void on the porch this winter, much like the one in our hearts. May we be so lucky to live as long and graciously as 'Pop'.
I worked with Carl for several years in the Digester Dept. Always good to me! Sorry for your loss.
