Carol was such an awesome friend to have. We went to South Main Baptist and grew up together there and through Jackson intermediate and Pasadena high school. She always had a kind word to say and was a good listener and loyal friend. I have so many great memories of Carol. When I was fixing to have my first child, she came to my house to go over lessons for teaching GA’s as a sub for me for 6 months. I was trying to share with her but kept saying these are the worse pains I have ever had, I will share in a bit. Well , I was having labor pains and she was there with me helping me pack till Nickey could get home from work to take me to the hospital. Years later , we still would get together and try to play some tennis , but she was too good for me. However, the son I had when she was with me during labor grew to play tennis also . They played better together than I did. We had fun trying to play Carol. So many memories that always bring a smile to my face and heart. She will be missed by our family.
