I remember having meetings at HPC and you would crack a few jokes before everyone made it into the conference room. I smile at some of the Teams crazy hat day moments that included Daniel. Daniel's laughter and sense of humor will be missed.

It was a pleasure serving the City of Houston with you. I learned a lot from our many code discussions. You were able to take on hard problems and resolve them with wisdom and expertise. You will be greatly missed. Thank you for your service to the City of Houston.

Though I never met your family, we are all family in the presence and loving care of our Lord God and the saving grace of His Son Jesus Christ.

It was an honor and a privilege to work with you for all these years at the City of Houston.
Your wisdom and kind hearted ways will be missed greatly.
Although I didn't get a chance to speak to Daniel very often, I usually saw him every day at the City. I remember recently discussing the weather, while walking across the parking lot. I told him I find myself complaining as much about the cold as I do the heat. He said, "you will never hear me complain about the cold because where I come from, it snowed." And I said, "well, I guess I won't complain anymore." And we laughed. I always remember him walking with his lunch kit as do I. RIP, Daniel. Prayers for his family and employees left behind.
I was so saddened to hear of Daniel’s passing! My heart goes out to Deseree & family. Praying that the Lord will hold you in His Arms & fill you with His comfort & Peace!
