View Tribute Book Daniel Roy Slack passed away Tuesday, March 28", 2023, at the age of 62. He is preceded indeath by his father, John William Slack; sons, Joshua and James Slack; and brother, JohnSlack. Left to cherish Daniel's memory are his mother, Muriel Slack; his loving wife of 34 years,Desiree Slack; sons, Jeremiah Slack, Andrew Slack and fiancée Tania, Paul Slack and wifeSarah; brothers, Gerard and David Slack; and a host of many other family and friends.Daniel graduated from Southern Illinois University. After a long career in residential construction,Daniel truly enjoyed working for the City of Houston Code Enforcement Plan Review Office for15 years.Daniel was a kindhearted and loyal man who worked very hard to provide for his family. Heenjoyed spending time outdoors; fishing, deer hunting, grilling, or taking an evening walk aroundthe neighborhood. Most importantly, Daniel loved to spend time with his family, especially havinglong, thoughtful conversations, watching the Astros, and above all else, praying.A Memorial Service will be held for Daniel at Westbury Baptist Church (10425 Hillcroft St,Houston, Tx 77096) on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, beginning at 6:00 pm. The family would like to thank their many friends for their love and support. Though we wouldhave cherished more time with Daniel, we know he is at peace with Jesus... the place he longedto be.
