Gary and I stood downstairs many times to go upstairs to the Directors Club. It won't be the same now. He was always a pleasure to be with, and I know others thought the same thing. Prayers for his family and friends. Rest in peace my friend.
Mr. Deitcher was my Google/YouTube back in the 80's and 90's. His plethora of information and know-how was boundless. He epitomized DIY. Bumped into Deitcher a few months ago, I thanked God for the encounter. Although Deitcher came across "rough", I came to respect this, as it made him a "man-of-his-word". Lastly, I can attest, Deitcher truly loved his wife, Cheryl. Thanks.
Mr. Gary was the greatest neighbor and one of the dearest friends anyone could ask for. My favorite memories include him riding up to our house on his mower with various tools ready to help on any projects we took on with the land. Cutting trees, leveling dirt, pouring concrete, helping me work on our lawn mower and even just hanging out and talking for a few hours. Always gave me great life advice most recently about marriage and I’m happy I got to share my gratitude with him, for everything he’s done, shortly before his passing. He is greatly missed. I am sorry to hear about my fellow HLSR Board Member and Directors Club nightly fellowship. I stood in line with Gary many nights to go upstairs to get the table for all the people that sat with them. He will be missed by all who had the honor of his friendship. May he rest in peace how.
