I am so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Grace, as I knew her, was a kind and great woman. Always made me feel welcome in her home. She took good care of her family. I know she was strong to go through some very hard times, and persevere to live and continue to love! I think her best joy was her grandchildren! ! I also think she was so proud of you Louann and Ken. All my love, Kathy
I remember Mrs. Lasher, Lou Ann’s beautiful, smiling, gracious mother when we were growing up in Spring Branch. I have now come to know her so much better through Lou Ann’s sharing. Her heartfelt writings have touched us all so deeply. You are in our hearts and prayers.
I knew Grace Shrum as Ms. Lasher growing up as a friend of her daughter, Lou Ann. Ms. Lasher was a very gracious hostess and always made me feel welcomed when I visited my friend’s home. I’ll never forget the wonderful meals she served each time I visited–including an extraordinary stuffed tomato she prepared one night. True to her kind nature, she also made me feel like part of the family when we visited the family’s vacation home in Hempstead. I know this great lady will be greatly missed by many.
I’m so sorry for your loss and will be praying your family through this difficult time.
Mom, I miss you.
I love you forever, I like you for always. As long as I’m living, my mommy you’ll be.
