I understand that you don't quite know who I am but I would like to say that I am very sorry for your loss and feel a pain as well considering how caring he was to when in my time of need. I just want to extend my prayers to your family as it comes up to a year.
I know it's been quite a time since I've talked to your family, but thank you Adams family for some of my fondest memories of kindergarten. You forever branded my heart and as did you son. I love you all and you are in my prayers forever.
I only found out abot Jake's passing a couple of days ago, far after he had passed. Jake was one of those rare, goodhearted people that are very hard to find these days. He was truly gifted, had a good sense of humor, and was very adventurous. I have never met Mr. and Mrs. Adams, but I would like them to know that the time I spent with their son truly brought joy to my heart. I went to CAC with him twice before, including last summer. He was somebody I talked to alot during those couple of weeks. He made it so much more fun and interesting and will truly be missed. My truest and deepest condolences to the Adams family and the Heartwell family. He has a special place in heaven.

I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know you or your family but I am still saddened to learn that a young man at his young age was taken. He sounds like a delightful guy.

Jake has been an immense blessing in my life. He was a positive and vibrant presence for every person that he interacted with. I am infinitely better for his having taught me the value of smiling and living life with happiness each and everyday.
