I am despondent to hear of loss of this wonderful example of a human being. I had the privilege to work under Jerry's wing at Johnson Space Center between 2013 and 2014, where he made a lasting impression on me. He made sure to teach me something every day, and made me feel right at home from day one.

Unfortunately, I could not make it to the funeral, as the dreadful news got to me too late. I'm very glad to have met him when I did, and I'm sure he's made similar impacts to many others in his 70+ years of life. People like him don't come around very often, and he will be sorely missed. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

To the Family of Jerry,

I'm very sorry for your loss he was a loss to me and everyone who know him here a PAE.
I know that I will miss the discussions we had on job related subjects as well as those we had on a more personal nature as well. He was very instrumental in getting me ready to take the States PE exam. His wealth of knowledge was unsurpassed by anyone I had ever known previously. His jovial attitude and wisdom was beyond reproach. I felt as if I was in the presence of an oracle of a sorts hen I was around him. I hope to see him again when I pass by the pearly gates some day. He was a inspiration to us all and a friend that I'll never forget. may God bless his sole and keep him at his right had for eternity.

I had the pleasure of working with Jerry for 9 years when I supported the emergency power and cooling plant at NASA JSC (B-48). He owned Ranger Support Services at the time and he engineered all the electrical projects that supported the Mission Control Center and the Space Station Control Center while I worked there.
Jerry had a great sense of humor and sayings that I have borrowed in my life. Like "You should have gotten a better education" when someone was complaining about their station in life, the fact that they couldn't get hired somewhere or weren't making enough money in their job.
Jerry would give life to electrical circuits by saying, "that guy doesn't go there" or "that guy won't work like that" for a wire or a device that was in the wrong spot on a drawing. He was a great teacher and always had a smile and good word for someone.
Heaven received a good engineer last Friday and I will honor his memory in my life and try to pass on his wit and humor.
Godspeed Jerry! You will be missed by all.
