Jimmy Glen Petter's Obituary
Jimmy Glen Petter passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025. He was 63 years old. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Martha Petter, and brother Albert “Sonny” Petter Jr. Left to cherish Jimmy’s memory are his brothers, Ronny Petter and wife, Nellwyn, and Alton Petter; sister-in-law, Rexanne Petter; nephew, Jason Petter and wife Carrie; nieces, Jennifer Stolle and husband Matt, and Ashley Petter; great grandnieces, Maddie and Annie Hilton; great grandnephew, Drayton Ward and fiancé Venus Denise Spencer; former wife and current friend, Linda Petter; and a host of many other family and friends.
Jimmy was born March 20, 1962, in Pasadena, Texas. His family moved to Pearland, Texas, in 1967 where he graduated from Pearland High School. Jimmy worked as an IT professional contractor for Braskem for the past 12 years. Before that, he also worked for Redbox and ARC Document Solutions.
Jimmy loved to cook, especially briskets on his smoker pit. Fishing was a favorite pastime for him, and he enjoyed telling his fishing stories. Jimmy was always the joyful one at gatherings with family and friends; he was truly loved by all. In his earlier years, Jimmy focused on music and had a local country western band “the Texas Connection”, of which he played lead guitar and sang. Entertainment was in his blood, and he enjoyed playing his favorite Gibson electric guitar.
A Christian in faith, he will be remembered for his kindness, sense of fun, sharp mind, and generosity by all he met.
