Marcia, I am so sorry about the loss of your dad...I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
So sorry that we did not know in time to come to the funeral. Glen was reading the Chronicle just now and saw the obituary. Marshall was a great man and always so friendly. We have some good memories of Baywood with ya'll. We (you, Pat and I) need to get together .
Just know that you are in our prayers.
Remember the Good old days at HL&P.
May your soul rest in peace.
i wish to express my sorrow on the death of my good friend marshall.i first met him when he came to work at the deepwater power plant in pasadena many years ago.the first thing remember about marshal was is great smile and sense of humor.i remember his cousin, clem holtman, his dad john jetter at the parrish plant and his uncle roy at deepwater.
there are so many good memories of when worked together and how he always did the best job he could do.clem marshall and roy came to our wedding in 1964. i had a picture made of our little group. it included; marshal, clem, roy, jb platte, john ince and leo manning.we raided my father-in laws whiskey cabinet and in about thirty minutes we had to leave the party. i got so drunk i don't remember the rest of the night.ha1 we got up the next morning and drove to monterrey, mexico for honey moon. amy finally forgave.we has been of 52 years now so guess it turned out ok. i had open heart surgery july 18 and just got back to my daughter's home in friends wood the 26th i just read about the funeral in the newspaper this afternoon our would sure tried to be there. lucia i remember we use to meet out at nco club at ellington field for bingo. you were so lucky to have such a carrying and loving husband.best luck and you can bet he is up in heaven with uncle roy, clem holtman and john better. god bless you and your family. john & amy mccauley.
