Q: How did you meet John?
A: Bubba,
I remember fishing in the Gulf so many times with Mama and Daddy. Those were such good times.
I'll never forget the time you and your friends took me with you to see "House of Wax" I spent most of the movie sitting in your lap because I was scared. You had to be very embarrassed. I imagine your buddies teased you quite a bit over it.
You were the "Good one". I was always into something or other. I remember Granddaddy Scardino somehow got us confused and fussed at you - who were probably sitting quietly- while I was up to no good as usual - poor guy. You didn't deserve that, but they couldn't convince him of that.
If I can behave myself and somehow get to Heaven, I eagerly look forward to seeing you, Mama and Daddy again
I wish we had been able to spend more time together, but I will always love you no matter the distance.

Dear Paula,
Marilyn Mason texted me this morning with the sad news of our beloved John's passing. I will say a special prayer for him today and strength for you to continue on with his love and devotion for you. John was one-of-a-kind soul; he always brought laughter to me every day we were together at Koza's. I will always remember his desk "candy drawer" and jolly laugh! I'm still in Missouri but sending you lots of love. Nora and Steve Wynn
