I only knew Marie for a very short time but, in that short time, something about her touched my soul. Rest in peace, "Sweet Marie."
Maria was one of the "Three Musketeers" along with my sister Dee Dee and Sandy Bennett. Many happy memories from their friendship and all playing together. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed. I pray that peace and comfort are found in precious memories of her.

My condolences to Marie's family and Husband, Jay Hooks. In the short time I've known Marie, she made me smile everytime I saw her.
She was a very loving and caring person to me and all of her friends and strangers alike. I will miss her. But, I will never forget the kindest friend she was.
