We will miss you sorely at every gathering Mama! We love you!
Mama,
A lot of us are still struggling to accept that you’re no longer here. It feels like a part of our world has been ripped away so suddenly, and it’s just so hard to put into words how much we miss you already. You've always been so much more than just an aunt to us—you were a second mother, a protector, a source of unwavering love.
There are so many things I regret not saying, moments I wish I had shared with you, and time I wish I had spent with you. This picture is my last memory of you, and I’m grateful I had the chance to spend time with you, hug you, and kiss you. I’ll hold on to the memories of the moments we shared, and I’ll do my best to live up to the love and care you showed all of us.
Thank you for everything, Mama Meng. I’ll miss you so much.
Love,
Gold
Mama Salome is our 2nd mama here in the US. She’s always kind, supportive and gentle. We will miss you, mama!
I was deprived of having a mother but there was Mama Mameng who stood as one for me and for many people.
Mama Mameng would always unconditionally support everyone in the family as she recognize herself the mother of all. Im one of the many people she sent to school. I graduated in college having all my expenses paid and she never asked anything in return. She would do the same for my siblings and cousins, even though we're not her own. She would do this to strangers I remember.
Mama Mameng would initiate parties and invite everyone as she loves seeing people gather and share happiness with each other. She would prepare food making sure everyone enjoys her party.
Mama Mameng was a retired school principal and has achieved a volume of differences of what learning grounds should be. She has uplifted lives of people she worked with. I remember, she would personally ask every student for their coping with learning.
Mama Mameng was a devoted catholic who would encourage everyone to believe in God. She would ask us to be grateful to Him all the time for every new day that comes in our lives.
Mama Mameng, you have done nothing but goodness to me, you have taught me so many lessons, you have built me, you have raised me, you fed and dressed me and you took care of me as your own. I honestly can not accept how your passing just happened and we had not reunited as you planned. I had so many dreams I want you to see Im turning them in to reality. I wanted to take care of you as you did to me when I have no one to be with. I wanted you to listen to what stories I'd like to share as you always did. I never really thanked you for always being there for me and my family.
Know that you will always be in my heart and mind Mama Mameng, I will forever treasure your many lessons and I'll live my life as how you wanted it to be. I love you and I thank you so much for everything. You are one of the best memories created in my existence. I love you Mama Meng and Papa Vit.
Thank you for the memories Mama! Til we meet again!
There are no words to fully express the sorrow in my heart. You were so much more than an Aunt to me—you were a second mother, always overflowing with love, always there to listen, to comfort, and to understand. You had the gift of making every family gathering feel magical, and I will forever cherish those moments.I will miss your special fruit salad, a simple but sweet reminder of your love. I will miss our chats—how you always checked in on me, how you cared in the smallest yet most meaningful ways, even by simply asking for a picture or video of Olive. I loved how much you adored my daughter, celebrating every little milestone with so much joy and pride.
It’s hard to accept that you’re gone, but I find comfort in knowing that your love will always live on in my heart. I will miss you more than words can ever say. Thank you for being the wonderful person you were.
I love you, Mama Meng.
