View Tribute Book Salome Abogado, 75, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025. Salome was born on May 1, 1949, to Miguel and Patricia Camayang.She lived in Estefania Amulung Cagayan Philippines, where she met her husband of almost 50 years. Salome had a master’s degree from Cagayan Colleges Tuguegarao, Philippines and was an educator for 42 years until she retired as an elementary school principal. Once school hours ended Salome would spend time working in her Sari-Sari store. She loved taking care of plants and flowers, gardening, and attending Mass regularly; she liked helping people and spending time with her family, whom she was so proud of. Salome is survived by her sons, Anthony and wife Kay Abogado, Eduardo and wife Mary Grace Abogado, Nino and wife Maria Cecilia Abogado, Giovanni Abogado; sister, Anna Montilla; brother, Efring Camayang; 8 grandchildren and a host of other loving family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vitaliano Abogado. There will be a visitation starting at 5:00pm on Tuesday, March 4 at Clayton Funeral home in Pearland. The recitation of the rosary will begin at 6:00pmThe Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Philippines at a date to be announced.
